Using the cover of the Gum Nebula, three incredibly powerful Cenari ships attempt to invader Republic Space in an attempt at a surprise attack. A mining ship discovered their presence and was able to alert the nearby border station which gave the Republic enough time to gather a small fleet to meet the invasion fleet.

The Cenari ships proved their incredible dominance within seconds, and probably would have made a very successful campaign had it not been for the incredible tactics provided by Race Allard, which lead to the destruction of the invasion forces, but at the cost of a sizable chunk of the fleet and part of the Taurus border station.
